"Ayuryoga: Cleansing the Healing Waters of your Body" ~~ with guest teacher Chitra Giauque, The Ayurvedic Institute, Albuquerque, NM
This workshop inaugurates the Community Cleanse and includes a special focus on our built-in detoxification system -- the Lymph System -- which will be accessed through specific postures, fluid movement, breath and sound. Practiced properly, these techniques tonify adn detoxify every system in our bodies, preparing us for a heightened expereince of our true inner nature.

"Taking Home a Practice" and Closing Circle with Katie Carter and others
The culmination of the Community Cleanse, includes a sharing circle for Cleanse Participants, Ayurvedic tips of diet and lifestyle, and a 15 minute hatha yoga routine that is perfect for starting a home yoga practice. April 27, Sunday, 2-4pm

Just show up! All classes are ongoing and fees are paid directly to the instructor. Complimentary use of yoga mat for first class.

Yoga Etiquette
DO ... remove shoes in lobby.
DO ... wear comfortable workout attire, clean, bare feet.
DO ... stay well hydrated.
DO ... purchase or bring your own personal yoga mat.
DO ... arrive on time. Each class has its own rhythm.
The beginning is important.

DON'T ... eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of class.
DON'T ... wear fragrance or perfumes.
DON'T ... enter studio during meditation.

 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Wild Mountain Yoga Center is located in the Seven Hills Business District just west of downtown Nevada City. Traveling from Grass Valley take Hwy 49/20 to the Gold Flat/Ridge Rd. exit. Turn left and go over freeway and take the first right onto Searls Ave. Continue for about 2 blocks and we're on the left at 574 Searls.
